About Us

The Lotus is a space where you can find your wellness, your community and most importantly YOU! The studio is a non-competitive space, all about encouragement, support and community. At the Lotus, we believe you are already whole, strong and capable. We provide wellness from the inside out.

Stephen Convey once said, “We see the world not as it is, but as we are.” At the Lotus we believe in your strength, your courage and heart. We encourage the approach of how it feels vs how it looks. Emotional, Physical and Mental Health are at the center of our mission. We believe in Kindness and Community, we believe that YOU are your own Best Guide and we are here to support you in your human journey!

“The truth is: Belonging starts with self-acceptance. Your level of belonging, in fact, can never be greater than your level of self-acceptance, because believing that you’re enough is what gives you the courage to be authentic, vulnerable and imperfect” -Brene Brown

Our team is committed to helping create an environment to help students find their voices and emotions and to feel safe in the body. We provide a variety of classes that meet you on your journey to wellness! We also have Movement Coordinators available to call and talk through a custom schedule to fit your wellness needs.

*Side Effects from coming to The Lotus may included becoming physically stronger, fitting into your heart, more emotional awareness, community connections and new-found confidence in your self.

Come discover ALL of YOU! ALL ARE WELCOME!

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is The Lotus Located?

We are conveniently located downtown on the walking mall (next to the Parrot). We have two entrances, one on the walking mall at 40 North Last Chance Gulch for classes in our upstairs studio and one at the back of the building at 40 Hibbard Way for classes in the downstairs studio.

Why Choose The Lotus Over a Gym?

The Lotus is more than just a place to “get fit.” While we advocate for and support healthy physical bodies, we also believe in healthy emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. We offer a space for health and wellness on all levels in a non-competitive environment where all are welcome and supported by our amazing community of instructors and students.

What Should I Wear to a Class?

The most important thing is to wear something you’re comfortable to move in! It varies by class, but dressing in layers is a great way to make sure you have enough or can shed a layer if you get warm. If you want to wear shoes for one of the dance classes (which we encourage if you want to!), please make sure they’re indoor shoes so we can protect our floors and maintain their longevity!

Is There a Place to Change?

Yes! We have dressing rooms in both our upstairs and downstairs studios.

How do I Contact a Therapist?
Visit our Therapists page. There you will find the best contact information for all of our therapists!
